What is a visa for Curacao?
As of October 2019, it is mandatory for all travelers from the EU to apply for a digital authorization for Curacao before departure. It used to be possible to fill in an Embarkation and Disembarkation (ED) card in the plane en route to Curacao. Nowadays this is no longer possible and you are required to apply for a Digital Immigration Card online prior to your trip. This digital visa is an online authorization letter, with which you can enter the borders of Curacao. You can apply for this e-visa quickly and easily via this website. You can already apply for your own visa from € 19.95 per person.
Visa validity
The Curacao e-visa gives you the opportunity to stay in Curacao for up to 90 days for tourism, private purposes or business. Children should also have their own e-visa for Curacao. You can stay in Suriname for a maximum of 180 days per calendar year.
Types of visa Curacao
Tourist travelers must be in possession of the online Digital Immigration Card visa before departure. On arrival on Curacao, all travelers over the age of 18 can use the so-called eGates at the airport. If you are traveling with children under the age of 18, you must report to a customs officer upon arrival.
Business travelers can also use the online visa for Curacao. With this we request a Digital Immigraton Card for you quickly and safely online. With this visa you can also use the eGates on arrival at the airport.
For a transfer without a new check-in in Suriname, you do not need to apply for a visa in advance.
You can request the Digital Immigration Card entirely online via our website.
We do not need to physically receive documents or your passport for this, with which you can often expect the visa to arrive in the mailbox within 2 working days!
